NECTOR VAN DE BISSCHOP, TOP BRED AND VERY PROMISING
Nector van de Bisschop is a son of Echo van ’t Spieveld. Echo is carrying the performance blood of Heartbreaker. It’s that kind of performance blood that we need in the international showjumping world. Echo performed at the highest level, in the beginning under the saddle of Niels Bruynseels, subsequently in partnership with Victoria Colvin. He has sired several successful showjumpers, amongst them Jivaro Imperio Egipcio (ex-Jivaro van ’t Hoogeinde, five-stars, Francisco José Mesquita Musa), Jasper P (five-stars, Emanuele Gaudiano), Kheros van ’t Hoogeinde (three-stars, Luis Ferreira), Kaprice van ’t Roosakker (five-stars, Kent Farrington) en Kerswin van ’t Roosakker (the Lanaken 2015 World champion).
Nector’s dam, Kelly van den Bisschop, is by the famous BWP Olympic stallion Darco. For many years this son of Lugano van la Roche has been number one in the WBFSH ranking for the best suppliers of showjumping horses. Do you know that performers such as Jivaro Imperio Egipcio and Kheros van ’t Hoogeinde are also the result of combining Echo van ’t Spieveld with a daughter of Darco? By searching some generations further in the dam line of Nector van de Bisschop, we go back to the roots of the famous Dutch Nuberta performance family. Nector’s grandmother, Obertha, produced the approved stallions Tuberthus and Mistral Optimus. Good blood seldom lies!
Nector van de Bisschop showed his showjumping qualities several times, for instance during heats of the stallion competition. This year, he ended second in the final ranking of this competition and won the heat in Sentower Park, in partnership with Pieter Kenis.
